Privacy Policy

Phototo collects no personal information. It's a photo editor that runs on your device and works with your Apple Photos library — no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
None. Phototo has no servers of its own and sends no personal data to the developer. Your photos, edits, and settings stay on your device unless you choose to back them up to storage you control (see “Cloud Backup” below).
With your permission, Phototo reads photos and videos from your Apple Photos library so you can browse and edit them, and writes edited versions back to Photos as non-destructive edits — your original is always recoverable via “Revert to Original” in Photos. This access is used only to provide the app's editing features and never leaves your device except through a backup destination you set up yourself.
If you turn on the optional Cloud Backup feature, Phototo uploads your photos and related files only to the storage you configure — your own S3-compatible bucket or SFTP server. The developer never receives your photos or credentials. Access keys and passwords you enter are stored in your device's Keychain and used solely to connect to the destination you specified. If you use cross-device sync, target settings are carried between your own devices via iCloud Keychain, under your Apple ID.
Phototo contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking technologies. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across apps or websites.
We don't share your data with anyone, because we don't collect it. Any data movement is between your device and the backup destination you configure — a direct connection that does not pass through the developer.
Phototo is not directed to children and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new “Last updated” date.
